Our greatest challenge right now is we can't hire people fast enough. We’re hiring a 360° HR Operations & Talent Specialist to fix that at the root.
About the role
Today, hiring still happens too reactively: more clients request our services than we're able to handle, and we’re forced to hire faster than we should. This role exists to eliminate that permanently and make hiring slow, proactive, and high-quality, every single time.
As a 360° HR Operations & Talent Specialist, you’ll own the end-to-end people systems at YOCTO - from always-on hiring and first-stage screening, to handling our ATS + Employee branding platform (we use Teamtailor), to helping us develop stronger role-specific onboarding and offboarding processes.
What you’ll be doing
Always-on hiring & talent pipelines
Build and maintain always-on talent pools for key YOCTO roles
Proactively source and screen candidates even when we’re not actively hiring
Ensure we always have warm, qualified candidates ready when demand increases
First-stage candidate screening
Own initial screening for all roles
Assess role fit, seniority, communication clarity, and red flags early
Ensure only strong-fit candidates move forward to later interview stages
ATS & careers infrastructure (Teamtailor)
Manage candidate stages, feedback, and documentation
Maintain clean, reliable hiring data for leadership visibility
Keep the careers website accurate and up to date
Hiring assets & standards
Develop / improve existing job descriptions
Create role-specific interview questions and evaluation criteria
Develop relevant test tasks where appropriate (realistic, predictive, fair)
Onboarding & offboarding systems
Develop / improve onboarding processes by role
Ensure new hires ramp quickly and understand expectations early
Develop structured offboarding procedures to capture learnings and protect institutional knowledge
What you'll need
Experience in in-house recruiting, HR operations, or people operations
Proven ability to build and maintain hiring systems and processes
Experience running first-stage candidate screening
Direct experience working with an ATS (ideally Teamtailor or similar)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and process quality
Ability to work closely with leadership and operate with high ownership
Nice to have
Experience in agencies, consulting, or fast-growing companies
Experience hiring for remote, international teams
Familiarity with onboarding and offboarding process design
Experience improving or rebuilding hiring workflows from scratch
Understanding of performance-driven, high-standards environments
